Looking good! If you want to be able to cycle for longer, you might want to consider using an easier gear and pedaling faster (about 90 pedal stroke per minute), keeping the same speed. It feels weird at first, but it'll allow you to go for much longer with your legs being less tired. Also that truck at 4:47 is driving very poorly. You have the right of way, he should stop.

You are not alone on this. I am on my own weight loss journey and have been reviving my youtube channel. I did nothing but let my passion projects fall away and my weight go out of control after my father died. Now I am bringing myself back and I use you for inspiration. Every time you push yourself in these videos I push myself because yea somedays are very hard to get going. Keep this up! I was 365lbs and now I am 316 lbs. I have a goal of 180 and my first goal is to ride a particular roller coaster near me that I fail the seat check on every year. In two weeks I get to see if my work paid off this year or not lol. Keep coming back! I and others will be here.

LETS GO ! Every day I look forward to the weight loss series. So inspirational. So motivational... Losing fat is probably the toughest thing a human can do and to keep it off is another battle. But with discipline and consistency It can be done. I'm down to 250 pounds and my weigh in is next monday... But i;m down 18 pounds thus far. I am finding with my journey I am so dialed in with nutrition and cardio that it seems the fat is just falling off. I estimate by Febuary 2025 I will be down to a lean 170 pounds. You have so many people following your journey and we thank you for the content it really helps with my weight loss journey.! All the best !

The big flaw in this style of losing weight is that you never actually get to practice what a normal healthy day should feel like. This isn't how healthy people live every day. So the big risk is that you get to the 100lb and you haven't actually learned how to eat a proper diet.
My life doesn’t have normal days g. I don’t live a normal life with a schedule. I hop on 200+ flights a year and sleep whenever possible not when “normal” people do it
@@Pashak but if you just found a way to practice eating 2500 calories everyday then you might actually learn how to sustain that. Where as your current system is unsustainable in the long term. And even worse is that you might not have actually learnt anything. You can't crash diet forever.

Been watching your videos! Some advice from someone who lost 130 Pounds in about 8-14 months, if you put in the work to make yourself proud don’t worry about the number that shit fluctuates so many variables you’ll see results within a week or so

Congrats on this journey! I personally lost 22kg by biking and eating correctly last year. Like you I started with an MTB but I felt too restricted in the city so i bought a road bike : best choice I have ever made for myself. I got rid of my car and I am only using my road bike now, the feeling is amazing! I can only advise you to try on a cheaper one or a gravel and see if you like it :)
You don’t need to be pushing on the bike as fast as you can. You need to research LISS (low intensity steady state). It would be more beneficial for you to bike at a slower pace for 90 minutes, than a hard pace for 40 minutes.

Cable tension was a little off and wasn’t releasing right
Also an extremely common shifting solution is to lift the rubber hoods up on your shifters and spray some WD-40 in there. Even if that’s not the problem, if you’ve not done that in some years and it’s dusty where you ride, it can make your shifters feel brand new

To be honest with you. I love the quality of your videos and the honesty. I started following you back in the day with uber eats videos when i tried it out and just stayed subscribed because of the quality of the content. Now with the weight loss. It motivated me to keep up with it everyday since you’re posting every day. Even if it’s just talking video at the end of the day, because of that since you started i started as well and I’m down 13lbs. Keep up the awesome work

road bike will absolutely help get some more miles in. Itll be a huge difference from what you are on now. Just might not be as comfortable takes some more getting use to the positioning. Also my two cents, the way you call out on your left is a bit rude , coming from a fellow cyclist. You arent giving them enough time to move as you are calling it too late. The area you are biking looks to prioritize pedestrians more than cyclist - while some trails prioritize cyclist. You can let people know you are coming without being rude.
What you dont see in the cut is me doing it 3-4 times to where I just have to be loud. I agree tho
